Amity Foundation Visits the All Africa Conference of Churches.

On 9th August 2019, delegates from Amity Foundation visited the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) , to familiarize themselves with the work of AACC. They were led by Mr. Qiu Zhonghui, Board Chair, Amity Foundation and Mrs. Ling Chunxiang, General Secretary, Amity Foundation.

Amity Foundation is a Chinese organization whose mission is to promote holistic development, public welfare and contribute to world peace. They are also the largest bible printers across the globe.  They have been introduced to the All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) by the General Secretary, Rev. Dr. Fidon Mwombeki, who have been allies when serving in different capacities.

AACC Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Bright Mawudor received Amity Foundation and gave them a tour of the premise including the Desmond Tutu Conference Centre. During the visit, Amity Foundation met with staff members of AACC and commended the equitable gender distribution. Among the different aspects that embossed and intrigued them, was the new thematic area on Plight of Widows, led by Rev. Dr. Lydia Mwaniki.

Dr. Bright Mawudor, Deputy General Secretary, All African Conference of Churches, expressed his excitement to learn, share and partner with Amity Foundation in diaconal and peace work as well as other aspects.
