MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCES FROM THE ALL AFRICA CONFERENCE OF CHURCHES ON THE DEATH OF RT. REV. DR. SETH AGIDI, MODERATOR, EVANGELICAL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF GHANA

The All Africa Conference of Churches (AACC) has learnt with great shock, of the untimely death of the Moderator of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ghana (EPCG), Rt. Rev. Dr. Seth Agidi. Rev. Agidi died on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

On behalf of the entire fraternity of the AACC, and on my own behalf, I would like to offer heartfelt condolences to his wife, Mrs Akpene Agidi, children, friends, relatives, and the entire congregation of the EPCG.

Rev. Agidi was a long serving pastor, who faithfully ministered to his congregants for over 31 years, rising to the position of moderator of the EPCG. He was due to retire from this position in December 2020. He distinguished himself as a great evangelist and administrator.

He also served as a member of the General Committee of the AACC, a responsibility he has discharged since his election in July 2018 at the 11th General Assembly of AACC in Kigali, Rwanda.

We will continue to pray for his family and congregation, that God may give them his abundant comfort at this trying time.

May the Almighty Lord rest the soul of Rev. Agidi in eternal peace, till we meet again.

“If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live of whether we die, we are the Lord’s.” (Romans 14:8)

Yours in Christ

REV. DR. FIDON MWOMBEKI
GENERAL SECRETARY
