Registration for the 2025 All Africa Youth Congress is now open

The All Africa Youth Congress (AAYC) is the flagship project of AACC’s campaign on youth and African Patriotism on the theme, ‘Africa: My Home. My Future.’ Since its launch at the inaugural AAYC in Ghana, 2022, the Campaign remains very fundamental in empowering the African youth leaders to own and offer leadership to the implementation of the AU Agenda 2063: The Africa We Want, the 17 SDGs, and other sustainable development Agendas of the continent. At the invitation of the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus, the second AAYC is scheduled for 31st October to 5th November 2025 in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. The registration portal is now open for youth leaders and AACC partners to express intent to participate in the congress for selection and official invitation.

On 4th December 2024, the AACC General Secretary wrote to the AACC members and partners inviting all African youth leaders (aged 18 to 35 years) within Africa and the diaspora to express intent to participate in the congress.

“We strongly encourage all participants to strive to meet their travel costs and contribute a registration fee of 100 USD towards other congress requirements. Churches and all able entities are strongly encouraged to support the young people’s endeavors to participate in the congress in all possible ways.” Noted Rev. Dr. Fidon Mwombeki.

The General secretary also requested all organizations interested in contributing to the congress program through side events and other activities to express interest through the registration portal.

“Each side event is encouraged to financially contribute towards the congress budget.” He wrote.

Aiming at inspiring and empowering the African young people to positively transform Africa’s narrative and champion the continent’s sustainable development, the second AAYC will bring together over 500 African Youth leaders for a Pan-African and ecumenical fellowship enriched with celebrating cultural & spiritual diversity, youth creativity and innovation, sharing of experiences, knowledge and skills, networking and capacity building, among other activities central in strengthening the transformative leadership of the African young people in driving sustainable development in Africa and across the Globe.
