Youth Consultation on addressing Mental Health and Drug Abuse

The rapidly increasing prevalence of mental health illnesses, substance use and abuse among adolescents and young adults is putting enormous strain on the economy, healthcare system, and society at large.

In our endeavor to build the Africa we Want and in pursuit of the third sustainable development goal advocating for Good health and Well- being, the All Africa Youth Network, in collaboration with the Africa Christian Health Associations platform (ACHAP), and the World Council of Churches (WCC) is organizing an online consultation to critically examine this challenge and together embark on a journey of promoting holistic mental health and wellbeing of the youth in Africa.
